I have over 40 years commercial experience as a Chartered Accountant and have worked for a variety of firms including Price Waterhouse and Ogden Parsons & Company (now Deloitte). During the late 80’s I was a partner in MacIntyre Hudson.
I then established my own accountancy practice, Eaton & Company, in 1993 before merging it with Meager Wood Locke & Company in 2007. I am now retained as a consultant by Locke Williams Associates LLP, specialising in assisting with strategic finance business coaching and M&A activity.
I also have considerable experience of working in public and voluntary sector related finance. For a 10 year period I was the Treasurer of Open Door, a Youth Counselling Service and Birmingham Voluntary Service Council, an umbrella organisation for voluntary organisations in the West Midlands. I am currently Hon Treasurer Young Enterprise Birmingham & Solihull Strategic Board, and a trustee director of the West Midlands area board.
I hold a number of directorships in other companies including Industrial Design Consultancy Limited where I am the Finance Director.
I also enjoy travelling, sailing and watching cricket.
