After joining Chris at his previous firm in 1997, I undertook my professional examinations and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. After discovering a keen interest in tax I continued my studies to become a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2003 and following that, in 2005, I became a member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Through my qualifications and experience I have the ability to deal with the everyday issues as you would expect from a Chartered Accountant, such as accountancy, audit and taxation compliance, but with a particular expertise in multi - tax planning.
During my time in practice I have dealt with various specialist projects including business acquisitions and disposals, corporate restructuring, personal tax planning including remuneration package planning, VAT issues, the taxation and administration of Trusts and Estates, Inheritance tax planning and many more.
I am also experienced in private client work including lifetime and post death Inheritance Tax planning, Will preparation, estate administration and the creation, administration and winding up of all trust types. I particularly enjoy tax planning for high net worth individuals including entrepreneurs, inherited wealth and new wealth. I also provide assistance to Solicitors with the complex aspects of the taxation of trusts and estates.
I have a particular interest in the Legal sector and in the Solicitors Accounts Rules and advising solicitors to ensure that they comply with them.
Having trained within a firm structured to serve the small and medium size business sectors, I have not only my qualifications, but I have gained a wide variety of experience in dealing with the issues that directly affect our clients and through this time have developed strong and reliable working relationships with them. The relationships we build with our clients are invaluable and are the key to our success.
Outside of the office, I enjoy keeping fit which includes visits to the gym and also dancing. I also enjoy the sun drenched breaks I get to take once in a while with my husband.
