After carrying out much of my early training with MacIntyre Hudson in Birmingham, I went on to qualify as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1993 and have recently become a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Over the last seventeen years in which I have worked in the general practice side of the profession, I have been fortunate to work closely with a diverse portfolio of small and medium sized businesses, across numerous business sectors. I value the range of experience that this has given me and continue to learn new skills as the opportunities present themselves.
My particular strengths are in assisting clients with the complex and ever changing technical aspects of company reporting, compliance with statutory auditing and business taxation.
In addition to my work with owner-managed businesses, I have also been able to develop a particular expertise in advising charities and other not-for-profit organisations. At Locke Williams Associates, I will be your key point of contact for advice with statutory audits and all other aspects of charity regulation and accounting requirements.
When not working, David enjoys the gym and is a keen follower of sport, particularly football and cricket.
